Recommended Sports Organizations 

The Positive Coaching Alliance is dedicated to helping create a positive youth sports culture.  A key concept of the Positive Coaching Alliance is the Double Goal Coach, and Second Goal Parent.  You can find information on these concepts here.

The International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) is a for profit competition network.  Due to it's size and prestige, the standards set by the IBJJF become the standards practiced throughout the BJJ community in regards to ranks and competition rules.  Many gyms will follow the IBJJF graduation system for children.

US Safe Sport is an organization dedicated to outlining safe and healthy coach-athlete relationships.  They provide training and resources to coaches, athletes, and parents. You can find their catalogue of courses here

Heads Up To Youth is a CDC program dedicated to training coaches, athletes, and parents on concussion safety.
